A: In order to manufacture a pair of Hearing Protection ear pieces we need to take a precise impression of your and each user’s ears. Q:What are impressions? A:A true replication of your ear shape. This is a simple process using a 50/50 2 part fast curing non allergenic silicon, a small foam stop is placed into the ear canal and the silicon which has the consistency of putty is gently squeezed into the full shape of the ear Q:How long does the process take? A:It takes no longer than 10 minutes to complete the process. Q:How are they manufactured? A:The impression is trimmed to remove the excess, and is processed though our own laboratory, where your impressions are made in to a soft silicone product. Available in a number of colours. Q:What are they made from? A:Non-Allergenic medical grade silicone in a soft 20 shore material. Q:What is vented? A:Hearing protection that has an acoustic noise suppression filter placed in the ear canal. This reduces high noise frequencies whilst allowing you to hear speech and shouted warnings. Q:What is solid? A:Hearing protection that does NOT have an acoustic filter and is totally solid, giving additional protection for high noise applications. channel giving additional protection in extreme noise environments.
